Christian club meeting

DOWNEY – “Honor Our Veterans” is the theme of the Downey Christian Women’s Club next meeting, Nov. 12, at Los Amigos Country Club. The Patriotic Honor Guard Riders will be the meeting’s special feature, along with a bake sale.

The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. and men are invited. Admission is $15 and includes a buffet lunch.
