DOWNEY – Free WFi is now available at City Hall and the library, officials have announced. After joining the “TWC WiFi” network and accepting the terms of services, users receive two free hours of internet access.
After two hours, Internet access is $2.95 per hour. Internet service is provided by Time Warner Cable.
“We are pleased to be able to provide free Wi-Fi service to our residents,” Mayor Fernando Vasquez said in a statement. “Our city is moving forward with a high-tech approach and I am excited for the future of technology here in Downey.”
