Football, cheerleading sign-ups

DOWNEY – Downey Youth Football, also known as the Razorbacks, will hold registration and its final jersey and spirit pack fittings for football players and cheerleaders this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Furman Park. Kids will be fitted for their spirit pack (shirts and shorts) and game jersey. A make-up date for cheerleaders only will be held July 2 at 6 p.m. at a location to be determined.

The Razorbacks offer flag football, tackle football, and cheerleading to boys and girls ages 5-14. Practices start July 28 at Rio San Gabriel Park and the first game is Sept. 6 at Warren High School.
