Jonathan Mora completes basic training

DOWNEY – Army Reserve Pvt. Jonathan Mora has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. During the nine weeks of training, Mora received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions.

He also received additional training in development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to infantry crewmen.

Mora is the son of Jenin Mora, of Downey. He graduated from California High School in Whittier in 2013.
