Jose Ramirez finishes basic training

DOWNEY – Air Force Airman 1st Class Jose A. Ramirez graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. Ramirez completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

He is the son of Maria Ramirez and Jose Jimenez, of Downey.

He is a 2012 graduate of Downey High School and earned an associate degree in 2013 from the Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood.
