DOWNEY – Downey Police have arrested a teenage boy in connection with a May 24 beating that left a man critically injured with severe head trauma. Authorities did not identify the suspect but said he was booked for attempted murder. He is currently housed at Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall.
The victim was targeted and deliberately attacked at about 10:30 p.m. near Florence Avenue and Orizaba Street, authorities said. He remains on life support at a local hospital.
