Textbooks open for review

DOWNEY – Textbooks under consideration for adoption by the Board of Education are now available for public inspection at district headquarters. If adopted, the textbooks will be used in high school AP Art History classes and by the World Languages Department.

The materials are on display in the second floor lobby of the Gallegos Administration Center at 11627 Brookshire Ave, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, until Aug. 18.

Suggestions or criticisms about the textbooks must be submitted in writing by Aug. 12.
