Free lecture on dementia

CERRITOS - Dr. Richard Jordan of Pioneer Medical Group will lead a discussion on the progression of various dementias, including Alzheimer's disease, and coping with memory loss at a workshop Wednesday at the Cerritos Senior Center.The meeting begins at 1 p.m. There is no cost but adults must be at least 50 years old to attend. The lecture will provide a better understanding of the disease process and its effects on the brain. Jordan will also offer options and alternatives available for those with the dementia.
