Michael Axton mourned

DOWNEY - Michael Axton, born in Downey and recently living in Olathe, Kans., died Dec. 2 at the Kansas City Hospice House. He was 76.He is survived by his wife, Karen Jarmer; sons, Mike Jr. and Lance Axton; daughters, Jackie Axton, Shelly Womack and Case Axton-Glaspey; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 6 in Liebenthal, Kans. Condolences may be shared at cremationcenterkc.com.
