Trasoras-Reed engagement

DOWNEY - Announcement is made of the engagement of Stacie Lynne Reed and Oscar Tony Trasoras, both of Fresno.The bride-to-be is the daughter of William Roy Reed Jr. and Linda Reed, of Santa Maria. She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and has been employed with Madera Unified School District as an elementary school teacher for the past 12 years. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Edward C. Trasoras and Elisa Abad Trasoras, of Downey. He has been in the U.S. Marine Corps for more than 17 years. During his enlistment, he has served several combat tours in Iraq and participated in humanitarian missions worldwide. He is currently assigned to recruiting duty. A January 2014 wedding is planned at the Naval Air Station in Lemoore, Calif.
