SPORTS -- Downey Pop Warner Football is in the process of assembling coaching staffs for the 2009 season. Potential coaches will soon be interviewed to fill the many positions required to staff the six tackle teams and cheerleading squads and several flag teams.

Last year, the Razorbacks placed teams from each of their five divisions in the conference playoffs, and one team advanced to the conference championships. The cheerleaders also won several awards in their conference competition.

For more information on volunteering as a coach, call Louis Morales at (310) 350-0220 or Mike Baumann at (562) 889-1183.
