Tree lighting ceremony Monday

DOWNEY - The city of Downey will host their annual tree lighting ceremony Monday at 6 p.m. outside City Hall.

The free event will feature entertainment from local schools, arts and crafts for children, a raffle, a snow play area, and a visit from Santa Claus.

Treats will be sold by the Downey Rose Float Association.

The Christmas tree will be lit at 6:30 p.m. For more information, call (562) 904-1895.
