Preview of symphony concert

WHITTIER – The Rio Hondo Symphony Guild will hold its first convert preview of the season Oct. 2 at First Friends Church in Whittier at 10 a.m.

Kimo Furumoto, new conductor of the Rio Hondo Symphony, will be the guest speaker. She will speak about the music he has selected for his first concert program, entitled “New Horizons.” Composers include Beethoven, Mussorsky and John Williams.
