Gladys Knights, Betty White highlight 2017-18 season at Cerritos Performing Arts Center

CERRITOS -- The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) opens the 2017-2018 Season with Grammy-winning Motown powerhouse Gladys Knight.

The "Empress of Soul" – who shattered music charts with "Love Overboard," "Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)" and "Midnight Train to Georgia" – performs on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $80 to $135.

Betty White
Sunday, Sept. 10

One of the funniest and busiest actresses in Hollywood, Betty White shares stories about her life and award-winning career, which includes award-winning stints on "Golden Girls" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show."

The legendary comedienne's talk, followed by an audience Q&A, is scheduled for Sunday, September 10 at 3 p.m. Television star Valerie Bertinelli moderates the show. Tickets cost $75 to $200.

"We've Only Just Begun"
Saturday, Sept. 16

"We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered" celebrates the Pop duo's legacy in words and music.

Accompanied by a live seven-piece band, the show pays tribute to the Carpenters' music phenomenon and hits, such as "(They Long to Be) Close to You," "Yesterday Once More" and "There's a Kind of Hush." Tickets are $45 to $65 for this 8 p.m. concert on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Creedence Clearwater Revisited
Sunday, Sept. 17

Creedence Clearwater Revisited returns to the CCPA Sunday, September 17 at 7 p.m.

The dynamic rock group delivers its timeless songs, such as "Proud Mary," "Down on the Corner" and "Who'll Stop the Rain." The group is the creation of original band members and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Stu Cook and Doug "Cosmo" Clifford. Ticket prices range from $80 to $100.

Live and Let Die
Saturday, Sept. 23

"Live and Let Die" features a four-piece band headed by bassist-guitarist-pianist-singer Tony Kishman and a full symphony orchestra led by conductor Martin Herman.

Enjoy hit songs from the Beatles' catalog and Paul McCartney's solo works, including "Let It Be," "Live and Let Die" and "Yesterday." Tickets range from $45 to $65 for the 8 p.m. performance on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Beach Boys
Sunday, Sept. 24

Are you ready for some "Fun, Fun, Fun" with The Beach Boys? The legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Grammy-winning band brings "Good Vibrations" to the shores of Cerritos on Sunday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m.

The night features a treasure trove of all-time surf hits, including "California Girls," "I Get Around" and "Barbara Ann." Tickets are $100 to $120.

Eddie Money
Friday, Sept. 29

Eddie Money and Starship featuring Mickey Thomas play at the CCPA on Friday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m.

Money's blue-collar brand of rock 'n' roll transcends generations with the hits "Two Tickets to Paradise" and the Grammy-nominated "Take Me Home Tonight." With Thomas at its helm, Starship ruled the charts with "We Built This City" and the Oscar-nominated "Nothing Gonna Stop Us Now." Starship performs first and Money closes the show. Ticket prices range from $50 to $95.

Steve Tyrell

Celebrated for the hit "The Way You Look Tonight," Emmy and Grammy winner Steve Tyrell will perform music from the Great American Songbook and songs by Ray Charles at the CCPA on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $30 to $70.

Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons

Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons will perform on Thursday, Dec. 14, at 8 p.m.

A true American icon, Valli has bedazzled generations of fans and critics with a legendary string of hits, including "My Eyes Adored You," "Grease" and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You." As the Four Seasons' front man, Valli's distinctive falsetto led the band to the top of the music charts with "Sherry," "Walk Like a Man," "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Rag Doll." The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Ticket prices start at $110.

Jackie Evancho

Jackie Evancho returns to the CCPA on Friday, Feb. 16, at 8 p.m. A young soprano who charmed a nation with her powerful performance on "America's Got Talent," Evancho has since ruled the "Billboard" charts with the albums "Songs From the Silver Screen" and "Dream With Me." The Classical crossover singer has performed for the president of the United States and for congressional and international leaders. Her concerts have been popular features on the PBS "Great Performances" series.

Chris Botti
Saturday, March 17

The CCPA welcomes back to its stage Chris Botti on Saturday, March 17 at 8 p.m. Grammy-winning trumpeter Botti's dreamy instrumentals have made him a major player in the contemporary Pop scene.

The "Los Angeles Times" cites Botti's "inventive melody-making [and] his engaging onstage presence." His albums include the Gold-selling "When I Fall in Love;" its follow-up "To Love Again;" the Grammy-nominated "Italia;" and "Impressions," which won a Grammy for "Best Pop Instrumental Album."
