CERRITOS - A physician from Pioneer Medical Group will lead a class Nov. 17 on "Staying Well through the Flu Season."The doctor will discuss tips to prevent spreading the flu and what to do when you are under the weather. The seminar begins at 1 p.m. at the Cerritos Senior Center. Call (562) 916-8550 for more information. The city of Downey will also be giving out free flu shots Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Downey Theatre. The line for flu shots will form between the theater and the Embassy Suites.
