  • Irma Annette Garza-Garcia, 52 of Pico Rivera, died March 8.

She was born on March 10, 1962 to Adelina Rojas and Severino Garza in Los Angeles. Irma was a Register Tech for the DMV for more than 30 years of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Victor, children Derek Vincent Garcia and Annette Victoria Garcia, brothers, Ruben, Joe, Sergio, Robert, and grandson, Jeremiah.

 

  • John Richard “Rick” Agee lost his lengthy battle with cancer at 12:40 a.m. on Feb. 19.

Agee was born March 7, 1959, at Seton Hospital in Austin. After starting the first grade in Downey, he and his family moved to Richardson, Tex.

Rick earned a BS degree at Texas Tech. After teaching for a few years, Rick moved back to Richardson, where he went to work for YC Nursery in Dallas.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Erickson Agee; son, John Taylor Agee; parents, John E. and Cynthia Agee; sister, Alese Agee; brother, Kerry Ben Agee and wife, Janie, nephew, Benjamin T., and niece, Amanda Lee Agee; many cousins and other family members.

 

  • Audrey Bogue, a longtime resident of Paradise, Calif., died March 3 at age 95.

She was the wife of the late Raymond Bogue. They were married 55 years.

Audrey was born in Butte, Montana, daughter of Elmer and Mae Miller and had one sister, Pat Erhart. They were raised in Downey.

Before moving to Paradise, Audrey owned and operated her own business, Audrey Bogue Insurance, for 17 years in Santa Monica.

She was a lifetime member of Soroptimist International.

In Paradise she served with the Paradise Irrigation District as Secretary for nine years.
