Pat Gregorio, age 99, passed away peacefully at home in Downey on December 16.

The proud son of Italian immigrants, Pat was born and raised in Pennsylvania and moved to California in 1948. In 1951, Pat and his wife, Princie, settled in Downey, where they raised their children, Paul and Patricia. In partnership with his brothers, Pat owned and operated successful grocery stores. He was active in the First Presbyterian Church of Downey, the Southland Italian Cultural Foundation, the Keep Downey Beautiful Committee, and the Downey Bocce Club.

Princie, his wife of 63 years, preceded Pat in death in 2006. He is survived by his children Paul and Patricia, his brother John, and grandchildren Thomas and Mary.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 26: Viewing at Miller-Mies Mortuary from 9:30-11am, Memorial service at 12:00 at First Presbyterian Church of Downey followed by Graveside service at Rose Hills at 2pm.
