Warren High’s first annual Super Hero Scrimmage Game

Warren High’s baseball teams held their first annual Super Hero Scrimmage Game last month, with freshmen competing again each other and junior varsity taking on the varsity team. Players traded in their uniforms for super hero costumes, and played baseball in costume. “Not only does a superhero possess extraordinary talents, but he is always courageous, confident, and fearless. These are the same talents needed when playing baseball,” said Betty Monroy, fundraiser and parent liaison. “”So after the silliness and fun, we are reminded of a life lesson. To always play with the extraordinary talents that you already possess and encourage our players to celebrate the superhero within them. All in the spirit and love of the great game of baseball. Go Warren Bears!”
