Larry H. Denes was district sales manager

DOWNEY - Larry H. Denes, an 18-year Downey resident, passed away June 9.He was born in Fort Morgan, Colo. and moved to California, settling in Downey. He was employed at Kelleher Corporation for 21 years where he worked as a district manager of sales. Denes enjoyed camping, fishing, playing his guitar, reading and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Catherine and Alexis; son, Wesley; mother, Barbara, of Fort Morgan; brother, Steve (Loretta), of Fort Morgan; sister, Twila, of Fort Morgan; brother, Ron, of Denver; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Alex, of Fort Morgan; and parents-in-law, Guy F. and Francis Morris, of Downey. Funeral services were held Monday at Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary. Arrangements were by Miller-Mies Mortuary.
