Victims in Mambo Grill shooting expected to survive (UPDATED)

DOWNEY — Four people were hospitalized in serious condition after an early morning shooting in Downtown Downey.

Police were dispatched to Mamba Grill, a restaurant and bar, after receiving reports of shots fired at 1:20 am. Officers found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds and began CPR, officials said.

The victims were transported to local hospitals by the Downey Fire Department.

Three victims are listed in stable condition and the fourth is in serious condition. All are expected to survive, police said.

Posts on social media alleged the shooter was in a vehicle when they opened fire. Police said the suspects fled in an unknown colored vehicle.
