Adult school students graduate

DOWNEY - Downey Adult School's Dental Assisting and Pharmacy Technician programs held graduation ceremonies May 25 in the Harriett Paine Event Center located on campus.For the Dental Assisting program, Laura Santizo was named valedictorian and Vanessa Lira salutatorian for the graduating class. Hermie Nadal was named valedictorian, while Sanaa Estefan and Eduardo Ducreaux shared the salutatorian title for the Pharmacy Technician program. For the afternoon program, Ariane Marie Ganancial headed the class as valedictorian while Elaine Umali Galisanao and Gabriela Marin were salutatorians. "This has been one of the best graduations we have had," Assistant Principal Blanca Rochin said.
