Annie M. Bearse was foster mother

DOWNEY - Annie M. Bearse, a licensed foster mother for the state of California for more than 40 years, died Jan. 10. She was 95.She was born in Centralia, Wash. and belonged to a variety of organizations, including Sons of Italy, VFW, and the Maywood Moose Lodge. She was also a member of First Christian Church of Bell. She is survived by her only child, Donald B. Bearse; daughter-in-law Cynthia; granddaughter Kimberly Milne; grandson Steven D. Bearse; great-granddaughters Stephanie and Rebekah Bearse; sister-in-law Margaret Sonney; and nieces Vivian Kolhoff, Rosalie and Judy Sonney, and Cathy Hodel.
