DOWNEY - Bob's Big Boy can now sell beer and alcohol after a conditional use permit was approved by the city's Planning Commission on July 7.The permit allows the restaurant franchise, owned by Jim Louder, to sell alcohol to customers dining inside the restaurant. Alcohol can not be sold to customers eating in the carhop area or purchasing food in the drive-through. City officials said they received no protests regarding the liquor license.
