Calvary Chapel celebrating military

DOWNEY -- Calvary Chapel Christian School in Downey will host Armed Forces Day on May 16. The community is invited to attend.The event will feature a breakfast, memorabilia displays, and guest speakers, in addition static displays, a rock wall, miniature F-16 jet fighter, a Humvee, and possibly a helicopter. All branches of military will be represented. Retired Army Gen. William Boykin is scheduled to make an appearance.
