Career expert leading roundtable

DOWNEY - First Presbyterian Church of Downey is introducing a "Career Mastermind Roundtable," a program that will help people in transition to a new job or who want to make a career change.The sessions will be facilitated by Carl Wellenstein, author of the book, "12 Steps to a New Career: What to Do When You Want to Make a Change Now." He has also written several articles on career change strategy, and is a frequent speaker to groups interested in job and career change issues. Prior to founding www.ExecGlobalNet.com in 2001, an Internet job-matching company for executives, managers and senior staff, Wellenstein founded an international executive search firm in the UK that he managed for seven years. He is a CPA and spent 15 years with Arthur Young & Co (now Ernst & Young), including five years as managing partner of the firm's Saudi Arabia practice. The sessions begin Monday at 7:30 p.m. The roundtable is open to all, whether you're looking for a job or at mid-career and would like help from a career expert.
