DOWNEY - Messiah Lutheran Church will host a Christmas concert this Sunday at 7 p.m."Veni, Emanuel, A Christmas Celebration" will feature Kyle Black and his brass band. A free will offering will be taken. Proceeds will be used for the enhancement of the church's pipe organ. Thrivent, a Lutheran-based insurance company, will match all donations.
