Christmas trees should be placed curbside

DOWNEY – CalMet Services will pick up Christmas trees Saturday, Dec. 27, through Jan. 16. Before placing trees on the curb, all decorations and tree stands must be removed. Trees should not be placed in bags, and trees over 4 ft. tall should be cut in half.

Commercial accounts, such as businesses and apartments, can schedule a pick-up by calling (562) 259-1239, ext. 7.

Trees should be placed at the curb, not by trash bins.
