Church hosting 5K run/walk

DOWNEY - The Moravian Church of Downey will host its second annual 5K Run-Walk on June 13 starting at 8:30 a.m.The 3.1 mile route starts in the church's parking lot at 10337 Old River School Rd. and winds through the neighborhood before finishing back in the parking lot. The top male and female finishers in each of four age categories will receive medals, and all participants will receive T-shirts and "green" goody bags.
