City collecting toys for needy kids

DOWNEY - The city of Downey is collecting new toys for local underprivileged children.Toys will be collected until Dec. 16, with drop-off bins at City Hall, the library, the Barbara J. Riley Community and Senior Center, all Downey fire stations, all Downey public schools, and select businesses displaying a city toy collection box.Toys must be new and unwrapped.
