Clarification for the President

Dear Editor:President Obama said he wants to make sure he got this straight - Romney will get rid of regulations on Wall Street but he's going to crack down on Sesame Street. I'm more than happy to straighten the president out. No, he did not get it right. What Romney said was that he would not borrow money from China to support Big Bird. To clarify: he said he loves Big Bird but instead of being indebted to China so that our children could watch a show, he feels one of us here in this country would support something this loved by our children. Now does the president understand the difference? Maybe he doesn't and that's why we're in trouble. Any more questions that only require common sense, I'd be glad to help. Loretta Scott Downey
