College to host job fair

NORWALK - Cerritos College's annual Career Expo and Job Fair will take place March 23 in the Library/Falcon Square sidewalk.During the expo, visitors will have an opportunity to speak to recruiters, learn about companies, explore job opportunities, network, and receive tips on resumes and interviewing skills. Employers representing business, finance, technology, healthcare, retail and other industries will participate in the expo. The current list of participating employers includes Caltrans, Home Depot, L.A. Restaurant Management, L.A. County Fire Department, Los Angeles Fire Department, Los Angeles Police Department, Bellflower Unified School District, Southern California Edison, Target, the University of Phoenix, and more. The event, which attracts more than 500 visitors each year, is free and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to dress in business attire and bring copies of their resume. The expo and job fair begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m.
