Comedy show fundraiser

WHITTIER – A comedy show in Whittier this Saturday is helping to raise funds for a Downey youth soccer team that’s been invited to play in a tournament in Sweden this July. Legacy United is a travel team that includes Downey players, including some from Griffiths Middle School.

Saturday’s comedy show starts at 7:30 p.m. at Sage Restaurant in Uptown Whittier, and will include performances by Jesus Sepulveda, Eric Schwartz, Joey Medina and Ryan Reaves. Tickets are $15, with no drink minimum.
