Comic Jeff Garcia to perform in Downey

DOWNEY – Comic Jeff Garcia will headline a Nov. 20 benefit comedy show at the Embassy Suites. The show is sponsored by Action Faith Ministries, a Downey church, which will use proceeds to purchase toys, blankets and food for needy families in Tecate, Mexico.

Jeff Garcia has toured all around the country and also provided the voice of Sheen Estevez in the animated film “Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.”

He will be joined on stage by fellow comics Rudy Moreno, Gilbert Esquivel, Jay LaMont, Eric Blake and “The Great Omar.”

Tickets are $25. Anyone who brings an unwrapped gift will be entered into a raffle.
