Concert recalls Vaudeville acts

BELLFLOWER - In a fun and nostalgic look back to yesteryear, the Bellflower Civic Chorus will present its fall concert, "Vaudeville," at the Bristol Auditorium in Bellflower Sept. 10-12.The chorus will perform time-tested tunes from the early part of the 20th century. The performances will also incorporate mimes, belly dancers and clowns. Shows are scheduled for Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. and matinees Sept. 11-12 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and available by visiting a chorus rehearsal Tuesday night at Simms Park Recreation Center or by sending a check and self-addressed stamped envelope to Bellflower Civic Chorus, P.O. Box 1058, Bellflower CA 90707. Tickets are occasionally available at the door.
