Friday, Jan. 7At about 9:00 p.m., officers responded to the 9200 block of Elm Vista concerning a report of three subjects attempting to set a Christmas tree on fire. One suspect was arrested and charged with arson. At 9:35 p.m., a robbery occurred in the area of Lakewood and 5th Street. The victim was approached from behind by two suspects armed with a lead pipe who demanded his property. The victim complied and the suspects fled in their vehicle. At 11:00 p.m., officers responded to an assault that had just occurred in the 11900 block of Adenmoor. Witnesses saw two people struggling before one of them pulled out an unknown object and stabbed the other. The victim was treated at the scene. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. Saturday, Jan. 8 Just after 1:40 a.m., officers went the 9800 block of Priscilla where a fight broke out between party guests, resulting in the victim being stabbed. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Sunday, Jan. 9 At 11:00 a.m., while jogging at Furman Park, an off-duty officer detained a man for indecent exposure. The suspect was arrested and charged with lewd conduct. At 6:30 p.m., a street robbery occurred at 2nd Street and La Reina. The victim had just made a withdrawal from an automated teller machine when a man ran up and took a wallet out of her hand. The suspect fled westbound on 2nd Street and out of sight. At 7:30 p.m., officers responded to an apartment complex located in the 12500 block of Brookshire concerning a possible structure fire. Officers discovered a Christmas tree was set on fire and the flames had subsequently spread to an adjacent carport area. Tuesday, Jan. 11 At 4:05 p.m., three suspects attempted to steal the victim's property as he was walking in the area of Alameda and Downey. The victim refused to give up his property and the suspects assaulted him with brass knuckles. The suspects fled the scene and the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Wednesday, Jan. 12 At 3:55 p.m., a female victim was pushed off her bike in the area of Lakewood and Florence. The suspect rode away with the victim's bicycle.
