DOWNEY – A town hall meeting has been scheduled for April 2 to discuss coyote activity in Downey and the city’s coyote management plan.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. inside council chambers at City Hall.

Downey created the coyote management plan in 2017, a 20-page document that outlines the city’s efforts to co-exist with the wild animals.

Residents can also report coyote sightings online.
