Downey resident to be featured on 'Vista L.A.'

DOWNEY – A local entrepreneur is to be featured on ABC7’s Vista LA television program.
Marcela Arrieta is owner of Majestic Bliss Soaps, a local business centered on the creation of handmade vegan, palm oil-free, animal cruelty-free, holistic healing soaps.

The seeds for Majestic Bliss were sown after Arrieta had left an already established career in human resources to instead be a stay-at-home mom. During the transition, she began dabbling in holistic healing –otherwise known as “energy healing.”

“What happened from there was I started to think ‘what can I create that is long lasting and is used by the everyday person,” said Arrieta during her Vista LA interview. “Soap!”

Majestic Bliss has been in operation for three years.

The Vista LA Crew shot footage at Arrieta’s Downey home where her business began, as well as at her Santa Fe Springs warehouse, where Majestic Bliss Soaps currently resides and operates out of. Arrieta and her husband Plinio –who is co-owner of the company- were both featured and interviewed.

Arrieta hopes that the exposure will increase the brand’s public reach.

“We are in the process of expanding our brand within Whole Foods from San Luis Obispo, down to San Diego, and all of Arizona within the next few weeks,” said Arrieta. “So that exposure (Vista LA) is definitely gonna help propel the brand to a greater level.”

The episode is scheduled to air in March.
