Downey TLC 5K set for Saturday

DOWNEY — The Downey TLC 5K, originally scheduled for Feb. 25 but postponed due to flooding, is scheduled to take place this Saturday at Apollo Park.

Same-day registration will be available from 6-7 am (cash or check only) with opening ceremonies beginning at 7:30 am. The race starts at 8 am.

Parking is available at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, with free shuttle bus service starting at 6:30 am.

A limited number of commemorative t-shirts will be available for purchase for $5 (cash only).

Participants who have not already picked up their race bibs can pick them up at the TLC Center, located at 13220 Bellflower Blvd.
