Downey's float will be No. 59 in Monday's Rose Parade

DOWNEY — The Downey Rose Float Association’s entry in Monday’s Rose Parade will be No. 59 out of 80 entries, parade organizers announced.

Downey will be sandwiched between the Taipei First Girls High School Marching Band and an equestrian unit.

Downey’s entry is titled “Bee Inspired” and measures 46 feet long. Decorating efforts are currently underway.

Monday’s parade begins at 8 am and will be televised locally.
