Drug store nears opening

DOWNEY - A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Sept. 23 at the new Walgreens located at 8030 Imperial Hwy.The drug store, which replaced a former tire shop, opened this weekend. The 12,258 square foot stucco building will feature a drive-thru lane for its pharmacy and a 32-ft. tall entry tower.
