Egg hunt for kids April 11

DOWNEY - The city of Downey will host its annual "Eggstravaganza" event for kids April 11 at local parks.Free activities, including face painting and crafts, begin at 10:30 a.m. The egg hunt begins at 11:30 and will be divided into different age groups. Parents can also take pictures of their children with the Bunny for $2. Members of the Miss Downey and Miss Teen Downey courts will be volunteering at the sites, along with the Volunteens and Downey police explorers.
