Epic Live anniversary show benefits Downey Symphony
DOWNEY — Britain’s Finest: The Beatles Experience is a rare intimate journey from the early 1960s "Beatlemania" pop through the later, more complex sonic tapestries of their career.
Described by CBS LA as "As close to the real deal as you may ever find in this lifetime.”
Sponsored by the Epic Live, the Downey Arts Coalition (DAC) is presenting Britain's Finest: The Beatles Experience in two special performances.
The first show is Saturday, Dec. 27, at 8 pm in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Downey’s Epic Live (formerly known as the Epic Lounge) on 2nd Street.
David Devis, the Epic’s owner and operator, is a huge Beatles fan. He reached out to DAC to create an exceptional event for the two day celebration and Downey Symphony fundraiser. He welcomes the opportunity to share this with all of the Epic’s customers, family, and the entire community.
Doors open 7 pm. Tickets are available at the door and on Eventbrite at:

It continues the Epic Live’s 20th anniversary celebration. Tickets are available at the door and on Eventbrite at https://britainsfinestbeatlesexperiencedowneysymphonyfundraiser.eventbrite.com
I’m not a fan of tribute bands, but this is very different. This is part theatre and part concert as these four young lads bring the look, the sound, the cheeky humor and the outright vivacity of the Beatles back to life.
This is a very interactive theatrical audience experience. It’s fun. They usually perform in much larger venues, so this intimate up close performance makes it even more unique. Who needs Broadway?
Since 2012, The Britain's Finest: The Beatles Experience is regarded nationally and internationally as the premier Beatles tribute band including multiple appearances at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, England.
It is an unforgettable experience celebrating the Beatles like never before. A vibrant tribute, part concert part theatre, filled with classic tunes, good vibes, and epic memories. High energy, strong crowd interaction, detailed costumes and instruments, and setlists that span the entire Beatles career from the early 60’s, through the psychedelic mid 60’s, to the late 60’s Let It Be era.
