Espinola to be honored

DOWNEY - The Downey Newcomers Club will honor Mona Espinola as Honoree of the Year on Monday at Los Amigos Country Club.Espinola is a longtime active member of the club. The July 12 event begins at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $10 and includes a buffet lunch. For reservations, call (562) 923-0471.
