Financial seminars at local church

DOWNEY - Financial Peace University (FPU), a 13-week program teaching families how to handle their money through common-sense principles and accountability, will present two classes at the Lord's Grace Church in Downey on April 27 and 30.Classes are taught by Dave Ramsey, who began teaching FPU classes in 1994. The program consists of 13 lessons taught by Ramsey on DVD. After each lesson, the class meets to help each other plan budgets, discuss successes and temptations, and support each other as they work to beat debt and build wealth.
