Francis 'Dale' Kirk was WWII veteran

DOWNEY - Francis "Dale" Kirk passed away Oct. 25 at the age of 89. He died peacefully in the presence of his family.He was born in Los Angeles on Aug. 26, 1921. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he settled in Bellflower in 1948. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ellen; their two sons, Steven (Virginia) of Garden Grove and Dale Kirk Jr. of Whittier; and three grandsons.
