Free legal fair this Sunday at Golden Park in Downey

DOWNEY – Downey Councilman Sean Ashton will be co-hosting a community legal fair with the organization Ferias Legales this Sunday, Sept. 11, from 11 am to 3 pm at the activities room at Golden Park.

Volunteer attorneys will provide information and free consultations in different areas of law including employment, criminal, family law, personal injury, estate planning, civil, Mexican laws and consulate issues, immigration, DACA, Citizenship, landlord/tenant, and others.  

People are encouraged to bring any legal documentation that they would like reviewed. 

Ferias Legales is a community organization consisting of attorneys and community leaders which aims to provide free legal resources to the community.  

“Ferias Legales has and continues to provide access to legal services to empower the community, especially by helping them know their rights,” said Downey Attorney and Board President Ricardo Perez.
