Free mulch for spring gardening

DOWNEY - Downey residents can receive up to 32 gallons of mulch for springtime planting at a free give-away tomorrow at the old Albertson's parking lot, 8320 Firestone Blvd.CalMet Services is providing the mulch. Residents should bring their own container. The give-away begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon. For more information, call (562) 259-1239.
