Friends mourn Gabriel Lomelin

The young man who reportedly took his life outside the Columbia Memorial Sports Center in the early morning hours of Veterans Day has been identified by friends as Gabriel Lomelin.

Lomelin, 20, was a noted skateboarder who was popular at Venice Beach. He went missing last September, prompting a search by police before he was eventually found in Downey.
