From Taylor Swift to banda: Downey reveals summer concert series lineup

DOWNEY — The City of Downey has released the schedule for its 2025 Summer Concerts in the Park series, a long-standing tradition that brings live music to Furman Park each Wednesday evening during the summer months.
This year’s concert series will run from June 18 through August 6, with performances scheduled weekly at 7 p.m. The lineup includes a range of musical genres, from patriotic and classical selections to tributes and popular hits.
The 2025 schedule is as follows:
June 18 – Electric Vinyl (Rock tribute)
June 25 – New Romantics (Taylor Swift tribute)
July 2 – 1st Marine Division Band (Patriotic)
July 9 – 80s VS 90s (’80s and ’90s hits)
July 16 – Chris Lozano Band (Country)
July 23 – Banda Las Angelinas (All-female banda)
July 30 – The Wiseguys (Horn band)
August 6 – Downey Symphony (Classical)
All performances will take place at Furman Park, located at 10419 Rives Avenue. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Umbrellas and pop-up shade structures are not permitted. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash.
The city is also offering free transportation to and from the concert site for Downey residents with disabilities through its Dial-A-Ride service. Reservations can be made by calling (562) 904-7215.
