Groundwater festival March 13

LAKEWOOD - The Water Replenishment District of Southern California (WRD) will host its third annual groundwater festival, "Treasure Beneath Our Feet," on March 13 at its headquarters at 4040 Paramount Blvd. in Lakewood.The free event will include interactive exhibits on water resources, water conservation and the environment. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is invited.
